Cleanup and replace
The Map cleanup panel gathers the bulk actions. Open it from the LG menu (Map cleanup…) or from the button on the Search tab.
Every action follows the same path: Orbiz counts first, shows the number per floor and only applies after your click. The whole action is one undo step. The scope (selection, current floor or whole map) shows in the panel as “Applies to”. One step accepts at most 200,000 tiles; above that, the dialog asks you to do it floor by floor.
Ready-made actions
Section titled “Ready-made actions”| Action | What it removes |
|---|---|
| Unreachable | Tiles that no standing tile can see, such as water and rock off-screen |
| Corpses | All corpses, except those with an attribute or something inside |
| Duplicates | The extra copies of items repeated on the same tile |
| Cleanup | Items whose id does not exist in appearances.dat |
| Empty respawns | Respawns with no creatures |
Cleanup by type needs the client’s item data. Without it, the panel warns you instead of acting.
Remove by id
Section titled “Remove by id”- Under Remove by id, choose the item (by id or name). You can add several.
- Click Remove… and check the count.
The results on the Search tab have a Remove these button, which acts on what the search found.
Advanced replace
Section titled “Advanced replace”Advanced replace swaps items by rules. Each rule has:
- A source item.
- One or more targets, each with a chance in %. The chances add up to 100; whatever is missing leaves the item as it is.
- The Delete the item target removes the item.
The target has to be an integer up to 65535 that exists in appearances.dat. If you swap the id of a container, its content and attributes stay with the item.
Save rules as a set (name and Save) and load them later with Load set…. Sets stay in your browser. Apply rules… counts and asks for confirmation.
On the Search tab, Replace with… applies a direct swap to the results.
Map statistics
Section titled “Map statistics”F8 or Map statistics… in the LG menu counts, in the current scope, tiles, items, floors, houses, house tiles, PZ tiles, respawns, monsters, NPCs, tiles in a zone, action ids, unique ids, texts, teleports, containers and corpses. The Count again button redoes the count after you edit.
